"That in whom reside all beings and who resides in all beings, who is the giver of grace to all, the Supreme Soul of the universe, the limitless being --I am That." Amritbindu Upanishad

Background

Dominique is a 500-ERYT with Yoga Alliance. She developed her own Vinyasa style, in an eclectic way, based on Krishnamacharya's method, and integrating many elements from other schools that can enhance her practice and teachings. She does not follow a system in order to remain open and free. She says: “Vinyasa is the art of sequencing, it is like a ballet, it is a choreography…”, however, she remains faithful to the ancient teachings of Yoga.

She discovered yoga in 1975 after a motorcycle accident that left her spine paralyzed for 3.5 years and many dislocated joints. She has experience in teaching complete beginners, as well as established teachers. She has run many yoga retreats and teacher training courses. Through perpetual study, her asana and pranayama practices continue to evolve and deepen.

She has attended many intensive retreats and courses, read tons of books to try and understand the Indian thought and philosophy, ans also Tibetan Buddhism and Dzogchen teaching. She spent months of self-retreats in secluded places, living in the most basic conditions. She practiced Zen meditation for many years, attended many ten-day Vipassana-meditation courses, and received empowerment of a few Tibetan practices.

She left her country in 1991 after visiting Nepal and has lived in Asia since, spending more than three years in India. She now lives in China for over five years.
