Our Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher training courses in Kathmandu, Nepal, right in the heart of the Kathmandu Valley offer an integral, comprehensive, and in-depth experience. By situating our trainings at significant and sacred locations of India and Nepal, we create an environment most conducive to deepening your practice. Certification

Our 350 hours Yoga Teacher Training Courses in Nepal (6 weeks) include a 200 hour Yoga Alliance (YA) Certified Training program for level 1 and 300 hours YA for level 2.

The Kathmandu Valley, in the heart of the Himalayas Nepal is where Hinduism and Buddhism meet. The city of Kathmandu, possibly 2000 years old, is the location of many sacred sites and the tri-city (Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur) and is of paramount importance for the Nath tradition which associates with the Mahasiddha Matsyendarnath and Goraknath, the fathers of the Nath tradition and the birth of Hatha Yoga. The Nepal Kathmandu Valley is home to some of the finest yogi’s in the world, whose spirit remain and fill the place with subtle shakti.

At 1350 meters above sea level the city offers breath-taking view of the Himalayas. During the Oct-Nov period the temperature will vary from 10°c low (50 F) to 25°c high (77 F) and for Apr-May it varies from 15°c low (59 F) to 30°c high (86 F).

Gaby started yoga after years of martial arts and an injury. Full time teacher since 2008 he now spends most of the year in Nepal or India, at the source of the science that now fuel his life, meeting inspirational teachers in the persons of monks, swamis, babas, hermits and other yoga gurus and enlightening beings. His teachings are profoundly inspired by his life in the East, Ayurveda, Yoga Philosophy and his previous life as an activist.  Read more..

Val Diaz, Thai Massage Teacher
Born of Colombian parents, in the French Guyana Creole melting pot, a stretch of Amazonian forest between Brazil & Surinam. Val is a yoga instructor, massage therapist and qualified Thai massage teacher. Since 2007, Val has trained 168 students in Thai Massage level 1, 2, 3, Oil Thai Massage and Thai Foot Reflexology in India, Nepal, French Guyana and France. 15 years of experience in networking and organizing events, since 2008 she has been organising 7 Yoga Teacher Trainings in India and Nepal..Read more..

Sannyasi Yogatara (Lisa Alessandra Gautschi)
Yogatara began her journey in Yoga in 1996 when she first arrived in Nepal. With a B.A. in biochemistry, she turned from hard sciences to the life sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda in her search for healing and spiritual growth. 

Yogatara holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Yogic Sciences from Bihar Yoga University, the first accredited Yoga University, in Bihar, India and a Masters in Transpersonal Psychology. Director of the Isha Center, a center of holistic and conscious living in Kathmandu, Nepal, Yogatara works as yoga therapist, instructor, and counselor. In addition, she is a freelance writer and leads yoga retreats and spiritual journeys to Nepal, India and Tibet.

Yogatara strives to embody the teachings of yoga and to follow the example of her teachers, Swami Satyananda and Swami Niranjanananda-- to serve, love and give (www.yogavision.net).
