Yogi-nomad Yoga Teacher Training - Level 1, 6 weeks 07 April to 19 May 2012

Our Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher training courses in Kathmandu, Nepal, right in the heart of the Kathmandu Valley offer an integral, comprehensive, and in-depth experience. By situating our trainings at significant and sacred locations of India and Nepal, we create an environment most conducive to deepening your practice. The program is designed to provide students the opportunity for a transformative experience of expanding consciousness in a supportive and authentic way. The Yogi-nomad instructors on our yoga teacher training courses are experienced, intuitive and responsive guides on this journey.

  • deepen their personal experience of yoga

Our 300 hours Yoga Teacher Training Courses in Nepal (6 weeks) include a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Training program. Click here for level 2, 500H
In the additional two weeks, you will:

  • Get certified in Thai Massage
  • Benefit from an introduction study of Ayurveda and Nutrition “Yoga and the Sacred Fire - the Science of Agni”
  • Build 50 hours of Teaching Experience

The Kathmandu Valley, in the heart of the Himalayas Nepal is where Hinduism and Buddhism meet. The city of Kathmandu, possibly 2000 years old, is the location of many sacred sites and the tri-city (Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur) and is of paramount importance for the Nath tradition which associates with the Mahasiddha Matsyendarnath and Goraknath, the fathers of the Nath tradition and the birth of Hatha Yoga. The Nepal Kathmandu Valley is home to some of the finest yogi’s in the world, whose spirit remain and fill the place with subtle shakti.

At 1350 meters above sea level the city offers breath-taking view of the Himalayas. During the Oct-Nov period the temperature will vary from 10°c low (50 F) to 25°c high (77 F) and for Apr-May it varies from 15°c low (59 F) to 30°c high (86 F).

Neera was drawn to spirituality at an early age and studied astrology, Vipassana meditation and various Eastern teachings before discovering yoga at the age of 19.
